NAA Distinguished Statesman of Aviation Award Honors Recipients

The National Aeronautic Association, the oldest national aviation organization in the United States, held their Fall Awards Ceremony On November 27, 2018. During this event, NAA honored four worthy individuals with the prestigious Wesley L. McDonald Distinguish Statesman of Aviation Award.
- Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and the Vice President of General Dynamics
- William Garvey, editor-in-chief of Business & Commercial Aviation Magazine (BAC)
- John and Martha King, founders of King Schools
Senior Associate Publisher of Trade-A-Plane, Steve Champness, had the honor of presenting the award to Mr. Burns. Trade-A-Plane congratulates all of the deserving recipients and offer our gratitude for their continued contributions to the aviation industry.
