Shell Aviation Becomes Exclusive Supplier at SaarbrüCken, Germany

06 May 2015, Shell Aviation has announced the expansion of its refueling network in Germany as the exclusive supplier at Saarbrücken Airport (SCN). The airport is located about 16 kilometres outside Saarbrücken, the state capital of Saarland in the South West of Germany, bordering Luxembourg and France. A dynamic regional connection point, it serves a number of scheduled and charter flights, connecting business hubs and holiday destinations. Shell will provide Jet A1 and Avgas 100LL and implement its Aviation Centre of Excellence (ACE) programme at the airport, where passenger numbers are expected to increase by 20% in 2015.

Shell Aviation becomes the exclusive supplier at Saarbrücken Airport in Germany expanding its European refueling network. Shell Aviation currently serves about 1,000 European customers in 17 European countries.

Shell Aviation’s ACE programme focuses on delivering efficient operations, establishing and maintaining high safety standards, utilising state-of-the-art equipment, and providing marketing support through the Shell brand. Shell Aviation customers will be able to benefit from flexible fuel purchasing options either through a supply contract with Shell or by presenting their Shell fuel & fly cards for ad-hoc refuelling services. Customers will also have access to electronic invoicing via Shell Aviation’s eServe system and dedicated account managers.
