Meet the People of Trade-A-Plane

We changed our name. Not who we are.

Now much more than a publisher, TAP Publishing has changed its name to The Cosby Harrison Company in honor of our founder. Though we have a new name, we are still the same family-owned business that holds to the core values and principles that started with the creation of Trade-A-Plane in 1937.

Our founder, Cosby Harrison, was a hard-working, innovative entrepreneur who loved to fly. He and his wife, Margaret, started Trade-A- Plane to connect General Aviation buyers and sellers after he and his fellow aviators could not find parts to fix their broken aircraft. Since then, Trade-A-Plane has been The Aviation Marketplace.

Much has changed in the 80 years since the first issue was compiled. Technology has evolved and we have evolved with it. Our vast array of new products and services take us beyond publishing into the realm of total marketing solutions.

Buyers have more ways to find everything that keeps them flying—print, online, mobile, apps, social media, trade shows, and much more. Sellers now have easy access to professional services like branding, website design, and search and social media marketing, giving them the best return for their advertising dollar. All from the company they know and trust.

We are still committed to bringing you the best results in the industry through hard work, innovation and excellent customer service. Thank you for 80 great years!
