VERO BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 17, 2016 - Piper Aircraft, Inc. has announced the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) has awarded type certification to the company for the M500. This marks the first time that a Piper Type Certificate has been fully validated in Japan.

From a mission standpoint, the M500 is the perfect aircraft to address the unique transportation needs of Japan, given its geographic orientation and surrounding islands."
With Japan's increasing demand for air services, and in light of this certification approval, M500 deliveries are expected to increase to accommodate the expanding Japanese market.
